About Sensei Jim Murray: Sensei Jim Murray has been a judoka for most of his life. Jim is a Rokudan or 6th degree black belt. He has innumerable medals in tournaments and has served as President of the Konan Judo Association and President of the Judo Affiliates of Michigan. Sensei Jim's passion for mentoring youth is what led to the foundation of the Godai Judo Club. Godai Judo is focused on youth mentorship. The club collects donations to support youth travel to major tournaments as well as educational scholarships and non-profit charities.
